The only way to get back into writing is to practice. So this is all this is, and I'll probably play around with it. I don't want to be told what I did wrong or anything because people always interperet things differently. If anything I should call it a work in progress but I don't work like that. For now I'm just putting it up and hoping I write something more worth posting once I get back into the swing of things.

Fears run deep as I stare down the path
unclear where to go.
Do I stay following the dirt
or step onto the grass and make one on my own?
If I wish to hold my own
then I shouldn't be so unsure standing here alone
yet I cannot take that first step eitherway.
Today I look beyond and see nothing
only shadows on the horizen,
and a matching image from the untraveled way.
Either place I go would bring the future closer
and an answer more near,
but too nervous by what may lay ahead,
I follow the trail left by those before
and continue feeling misplaced in the crowd...
for now.

and I ended up editing it before submitting it, so I thought I should include the original version since that's what I was talking about more when submitting.

I am a little more fond of the original, even though it may not sound very "poetic" or rhyming. Still it flows correctly if I just stop trying to read it any certain way... Either version has it's own way of working.
